Our Story
Built from decades spent inside families' hardest transitions.
The International Estate Collective LLC began with a simple observation, repeated in estate after estate: the best outcomes always involved a trusted network of specialists working together.
A Note From Our Founder
I've spent my career inside the estates of families going through the hardest transitions of their lives — a death, a divorce, a downsizing, a move into elder care. As an estate appraiser and auction professional, I sat at kitchen tables and in storage units and watched, again and again, what separated a smooth outcome from a painful one: whether the family had the right people around them.
The attorney who understood probate across two countries. The advisor who knew how to untangle a blended estate with grace. The move manager who treated a lifetime of belongings with the respect it deserved. When that network existed, families healed faster. When it didn't, they suffered longer than they needed to.
I also noticed something else: so many of the best people doing this work were operating in isolation, without a peer group that understood the weight of what they carried, or a way to refer a client across a border with confidence.
The International Estate Collective LLC is my answer to that gap. It's a place where vetted experts across the estate and life-transition lifecycle can find each other, vet each other, learn from each other, and hand a family off — anywhere in the world — knowing they're in good hands.
This isn't a networking group. It's a collective built on the belief that families deserve better than a stranger from a search engine.
Why We Exist
Because families in transition deserve a network, not a directory.
Expertise, verified
Every member is reviewed before joining. We'd rather stay small and trusted than large and diluted.
Borders are not a barrier
Estates increasingly span countries and legal systems. Our members make that complexity feel manageable for the families they serve.
Professionals supporting professionals
We built a space specifically for vetted professionals and the businesses that support them to grow together.
Ethics before growth
Confidentiality, professional conduct, and referral integrity aren't fine print here — they're the reason the network works at all.
How It Came Together
From one appraiser's notebook to a global collective.
What started as a running list of trusted colleagues — attorneys, advisors, move managers, auction professionals — became a formal, vetted, invite-and-application-based community built to scale that trust across borders.
The observation
Years of estate appraisal and auction work revealed the same pattern: the families with the strongest professional network around them fared better, faster, with less conflict.
The list
A personal roster of trusted attorneys, advisors, fiduciaries, and support professionals — the people Mandy actually called when a case got complicated — grew far beyond one address book.
The collective
That informal network became The International Estate Collective LLC: a curated, invitation-or-application-based network with standards, structure, and a shared code of ethics.
